Plant Science Tools for Sustainable Reforestation

When Mihaela Ryer—a geoscientist on the Big Island of Hawaii—asked us about obtaining a CI-340 Handheld Photosynthesis
System
and CI-600 In-Situ Root Imager for a restoration project in a native forest, we jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with her.

As part of our grant program, Mihaela and her son Michael, a
chemistry major at Willamette University, will be sharing monthly
updates on their Native Forest Restoration and Monitoring project over the course of the next year. Stay tuned to our blog to follow their progress!
